Prof. Hyunchul Kang received the B.S. degree in Computer Engineering from Seoul National University, Seoul, Korea in 1983, and received the M.S. and Ph.D. degrees in Computer Science from University of Maryland, College Park in 1985 and 1987, respectively. In 1988, he joined the School of Computer Science and Engineering, Chung-Ang University, Seoul, Korea where he is currently a Professor. His current research interests include Sensor Network Databases, Data Management for Social Network, XML and Web Databases, and Data Management in Cloud Computing.
